Join us to learn and practice age old techniques to “clean and clear” your energetic body. While we all give much attention to taking care of our physical body, many of us are less aware of how to taking care of our “energetic body”. Indeed, the subtle energies that surround our physical body (and even our living spaces) can get “heavy” with accumulated debris that should be “cleaned out” to promote physical, psychological and spiritual health and well-being. This is especially true if you have recently experienced ill health, stress, and/or trauma of some type. Inspired by several African and Native American energetic cleaning methods, we will carry out various types of “energetic cleanings” on each other. You will take away from this workshop specific information about how to do energetic cleanings on your own, for yourself, family and friends. People are often surprised to discover how much better they feel after this type of cleaning.

Wendy Elliott, M.Ed, LCMHC, ADTR works as an accredited dance-movement therapist, licensed counselor, educator, consultant, mentor and coach integrating the forms of authentic movement, creative process, spirituality, and social justice for over 25 years. She is a risk taker, one who is willing to cross over into unknown territory for the sake of cultivating deep learning and wisdom. As a long time practioner of mindful meditation, Wendy understands what it means to be awake and welcome whatever shows up and treat it as an honorable guest. Emotions, imagination, thoughts, sensations, dreams and the body are met with curiosity and compassion. Wendy is the author of "Instilling Spirituality," in Nina Shandler's book, Ophelia's Mom, Loving and Letting go of your Adolescent Daughter." She has also written several articles on "Making Transitions," which focus on the role of ritual, healing, and ceremony during times of change and upheaval. Skye Stephenson, PhD is involved in educational and healing work that brings together people, places and energies in ways that promote transformation, growth and learning. She wears several different hats in her life roles. Skye is a certified Crystal Resonance Therapist, and is currently developing a unique type of crystal healing known as LECORA™ (Lemurian Essential Crystal Or Rock Applications).

Skye's greatest passion is her writing, and she enjoys writing poetry, articles and books. She is the author of Understanding Spanish-Speaking South Americans: Bridging Hemispheres (Intercultural Press, 2002,) as well as numerous articles on education and other topics. She currently writes a healing column for a local newspaper. Skye currently has several writing projects underway, including a set of Stone Spirit cards that provide an introduction into crystal healing and LECORA™ work.

Skye is also the founder of Jade Journeys, LLC. These journeys focus upon sacred knowledge and sites. Her decades of experience as an intercultural and international educator connected to the Latin American region gives Skye an extensive network of people throughout the Americas who are working at the intersection between the realm of sacred wisdom and contemporary knowledge. She has undertaken initiations in Cuba and Brazil and been involved with sacred ceremonies and healing activities in Mexico, Ecuador and Chile - as well as in the United States.
