SHAMANISM DISCUSSION GROUP
The Shamanism group gathers the second Thursday of each month in the Keene area to reflect, discuss and – most importantly – practice together various aspects of shamanism. Begun in early 2009, we are open to all who are interested in finding out more about shamanism, which is the most ancient and widespread form of human spirituality. While shamanism as practiced has many different forms and structures, at its essence all types of shamanism are about connecting with realms that exist beyond the physical dimension for the purposes of gaining wisdom and bringing about personal and communal healing.
In this group, we will explore together topics such as the importance of ceremony and ritual, the realm of the ancestors, the four elements in your body and life, initiation and life purpose, connecting with plants and rocks, music and dance, energetic cleaning, and more. Our goal is to come together with like-minded individuals to celebrate, create and connect with each other, with the natural world the surrounds us, and with the realm of spirit within which we are constantly immersed.
